Go Homemade is an internet advertising platform where you can advertise your unique home-made products or goods, whether it be crafted items or baked goods, to attract sellers from various locations.

We at Go Homemade would want you to have a positive experience in using our platform and web site and would thus encourage you to read these terms and conditions for use to clearly understand your rights as well as what is expected of you as a user.

Take note that, when you make use of the advertising facilities of Go Homemade on this platform you automatically accept these terms and conditions for use

Go Homemade provides you with an internet advertising platform where buyers can discover and purchase directly from you, as the advertiser/seller, your home-made goods and products.

By advertising on Go Homemade you must understand the following:

1. Go Homemade only provides you as the advertiser/seller of your own goods and products, a platform on which to advertise same to prospective buyers;
2. Should you be a buyer interested in buying any of the products of the advertisers/sellers on the Go Homemade platform, you are not buying directly from Go Homemade, but from the specific advertiser/seller of the goods or product;
3. Go Homemade does not pre-screen any of the advertisers/sellers making use of the advertising platform and therefore does not guarantee nor endorse any of the goods or product so advertised and ultimately sold, nor does it guarantee the correctness of any content so posted by the advertiser/seller, such as photographs and or language used in the listings;,
4. You as the buyer of any goods or product assume full responsibility for any transaction entered into with an advertiser/seller of goods or product including but not limited to knowledge of the product, payment terms, return or exchange terms and conditions and materials used and/or provided.

Although we at Go Homemade do not want to limit the advertising possibility of businesses, it must be noted that this platform has solely been created to assist small businesses selling home-made goods and products.
The following limitations on advertisers therefore exist:
1. No factory produced, automated or items from industrial processing to be sold on this platform;
2. No large organizations or businesses with more than 10 employees
3. No mass-produced or store-bought items
4. No re-sellers

As a condition for the use of the Go Homemade advertising platform, you, as the advertiser/seller, agrees that you will not:

1. Violate any applicable laws including, but not limited to consumer protection, data protection and intellectual property laws;
2. Violate any applicable posting rules;
3. Post listings that do not show clear, truthful, verifiable, complete and unambiguous information regarding your contact details, the goods or products so advertised, price, delivery and any additional charges;
4. Post any threatening, abusive, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, unconstitutional or indecent material;
5. Use the Go Homemade platform in any manner that could impair the website or applications in any way or interfere with any other party’s use or enjoyment of this platform;
6. Post any material that is harmful to, harms or could harm minors in any way;
7. The false or misleading or employ false or misleading advertising practices;
8. Infringe any third party right;
9. Distribute or contain spam, chain letters or pyramid schemes or the sending of unsolicited advertising or promotions, request for donations;
10. Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Go Homemade or the interests or property of any other users or third parties;
11. Impose an unreasonable load on the Go Homemade infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of Go Homemade;

12. Copy, modify or distribute any other person’s content without their consent;

    13. Use any robot spider, scraper or other automated means to access Go Homemade and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
    14. Harvest or otherwise collect information about other users and or third parties, including email addresses and telephone numbers names, or the like, without their consent or otherwise violate the privacy of any users and or third parties;
    15. Use the information available on Go Homemade to contact any users or third parties or advertisers for any other purpose than for the use of this service;
    16. Bypass any measures used to prevent or restrict access to Go Homemade;
    17. To contact, whether it be physical, telephonic, or by email, or any other means, any advertiser, user or third party after they have explicitly asked you not to;
    18. Interfering, in any way or form with a transaction or business of any other user or advertiser;
    19. No form of interference with any other user and or advertiser, their business goods or product shall be allowed, and is strictly prohibited. Interference occurs when one person, whether it be a user and or advertiser, or third party intentionally interfered with any other user and or advertisers business, in order to drive away their prospective clients, customers or business.

You, as the user/advertiser/seller on the Go Homemade platform are solely responsible for all information that you submit to the Go Homemade platform and any consequences that may result from your post.

We at Go Homemade reserve the right, for any reason whatsoever, at our sole discretion, and without the necessity to provide you with any explanation or reasoning for our decision, may refuse or delete or take down content that we believe is inappropriate or in breach of our terms and conditions for use.

We may, at our own discretion, remove ads, put ads on hold or make minor changes thereto, when we believe that your posting do not comply with our terms and conditions for use.

We furthermore and also reserve the right, at our own discretion, to restrict any user’s usage of the site, either temporarily, or permanently, or refuse user registration.

Go Homemade has been created to assist you, as a community, in providing a platform for the advertisement of your home-made goods and products, and as such, we encourage our community of users and advertisers to work together in keeping to the terms and conditions for use, and to keep our community safe.

Should you, however, wish to report any problems, offensive content or policy breaches, this can be done by reporting same to the following email address, admin@gohomemade.co.za.

The use of the Go Homemade platform is generally free of charge, but we do sometimes charge a fee in respect of certain or specific users and/or advertisers on this platform.
Should your placement of an ad incur any fees, you will be able to review and accept that charges, including the manner of payment, at the time of the placement of your ad.
Our fees are quoted in South African Rand, and may be subject to change from time to time.
Our fees are non-refundable, and you are responsible for the payment thereof prior to the placement of your ad. Should you fail to make the necessary payment, if applicable, your specific ad will not be posted.

Go Homemade shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this platform or the services or content provided from and through this platform.
Go Homemade makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, amongst others, the content and technology available from this platform are free from errors or omissions and that the services will be continuous, error-free or secure or that defects in the service will be corrected.
This platform is supplied as an “as is” basis and has not been created or supplied to meet the user’s individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the user to satisfy himself or itself prior to entering into this agreement with Go Homemade that the service available from and through this platform will meet the users individual requirements and be compatible with the user’s hardware and/or software.
Information, ideas and opinions expressed on this platform should not be regarded as professional advice or as the official opinion of Go Homemade, and users are encouraged to consult professional advice before taking any cause of action related to information, ideas or opinions expressed on this platform.
Go Homemade does not act as the supplier of any product order goods advertised on this platform, as contemplated in the consumer protection act, or otherwise, and is not the party marketing the goods or product. Go Homemade is only providing the platform. Go Homemade is not involved in the actual transaction between the advertiser/seller and the buyer.

Go Homemade does not operate as a payment intermediary, payment processor, payment facilitator, money transmitter, money services business or any type of business akin thereto for the purposes of, or in connection with, any transaction on this platform.

Go Homemade does not make any representations, nor guarantee or give any warranty as to the accuracy or content of the postings/ads or user communications or the quality, safety or legality of what is offered, or with regard to the legal capacity of the users that may conduct or complete any transaction.

By using this platform, whether it be as an advertiser/seller or a prospective buyer, you agree not to hold go homemade responsible for any steps or actions of any other users or third parties making use of this platform.

Go Homemade does not accept any liability for any description for the posting of any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information, or material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law.

Go Homemade will not be liable for any loss, whether of money, goodwill or reputation or any special, indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of go homemade, even if you advise us or we could reasonably foresee the possibility of any such damage occurring.

Nothing in these terms and conditions of use shall limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of any of our agents and/or employees.

By using Go Homemade, whether it be as an advertiser/seller, prospective buyer of product order goods, or as third party user, you agree that you are giving your voluntary and informed consent to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by Go Homemade on its service, wherever located, and from such purposes as more fully described and contemplated in the Protection of Private Information Act, 4 of 2013.
You furthermore agree that you are giving your voluntary and informed consent to receive marketing communications from us, unless you tell us that you prefer not to receive such communications.

All content included on this site and platform, such as text, photographs, logos, graphics, button icons, data compilations and software and the selection, arrangement and layout thereof are the property of Go Homemade or licensed to Go Homemade and as such, are protected by South African and International copyright laws.

Go Homemade, its website and business are operated from the Republic of South Africa, and thus the South African law governs the use and or liability to use this website and platform as per the terms and conditions set out herein above
